Sneznik trails

Sneznik Trails brings runners to the forested slopes around Ilirska Bistrica in southern Slovenia, with four distances designed to welcome everyone from first-timers to ultra veterans. The 9-kilometre route offers a gentle introduction with just 226 metres of climbing, while the 16-kilometre option steps things up to 581 metres. More experienced runners can tackle the 33-kilometre course with 1,259 metres of elevation, or take on the 64-kilometre challenge that climbs nearly 2,800 metres through the dense woodlands surrounding Mount Snežnik. The relatively quiet trails and natural progression of distances make this an ideal event for groups with mixed experience levels, all running the same weekend in the same welcoming atmosphere.
