Trosa Ultra Backyard brings the relentless backyard ultra format to Sweden's picturesque harbor town. Every hour on the hour, runners head out for a 6.7 km waterfront loop, returning before 60 minutes to earn the right to start again. The concept is beautifully simple and brutally honest: keep going until only one runner remains. The smooth, fast loop allows efficient resupply between laps, with aid stations offering Umara sports drink, fruit, sandwiches, and hot meals from local partners. Beyond the individual challenge, team competition tallies results by club, and spot-prize raffles add moments of levity as the hours tick by. Every finisher receives a medal, top performers earn trophies and prize money, and all participants get a reusable silicone cup reflecting the event's sustainability focus. A children's Mini-TUB event brings families into the waterfront atmosphere.
