Ultra X Wales takes runners deep into the rugged landscapes of southern Snowdonia over two days of multi-stage racing. The event offers distances from 11km to 110km, making it accessible to runners at different levels, though the terrain demands respect — this is proper mountain country with technical trails, steep climbs, and exposed ridgelines. The courses loop from a central campsite, threading through some of South Snowdonia's most dramatic peaks and scenic trails. Runners tackle the same wild terrain that's made this part of Wales legendary among hill runners, with rocky paths and big views across the national park.
