Four distances span from an accessible 11km with 231 metres of climbing to a demanding 45km route gaining 1,287 metres through exposed mountain paths. The courses traverse 'A Raia' — the ancient borderlands — passing stone villages and weathered peaks in a landscape shaped by centuries of frontier history. Summer heat adds another dimension to the challenge, making proper hydration strategy as important as fitness.
