XVI Trilhos de Casainhos

The Trilhos de Casainhos offers two routes through the Portuguese countryside north of Lisbon — a 10-kilometre course with 400 metres of climbing suited to newcomers, and an 18-kilometre route with 900 metres of elevation for those seeking more challenge. Held in late November, the event combines trail running with community spirit. Runners often gather afterward for an optional wild boar feijoada, with proceeds supporting the local volunteer firefighters.
