Trail da Amizade takes runners through the dramatic landscapes of central Portugal's Serra do Sicó. The routes wind through the impressive Sicó Canyon, where limestone formations tower above narrow gorges, before threading through traditional mountain villages where locals often come out to cheer. Four distances cater to different ambitions, from the 12km option with 286m of climbing to the challenging 52km ultra that ascends nearly 2000m. The terrain mixes technical single track with forest paths and open ridgelines offering sweeping views across the Serra da Ansião. The welcoming atmosphere and stunning scenery make this a memorable day in the Portuguese hills.
