TRAIL AM

About this event

Set in the historic Portuguese city of Barcelos, TRAIL AM offers three distinct challenges across its November edition. Runners can choose from a 16km route with 578m of climbing, a 32km middle distance with 1,231m of elevation, or the full 50km challenge featuring a substantial 2,600m of vertical gain. The event takes place in late autumn when Portugal's northern landscapes show their wilder side, with cooler temperatures ideal for sustained efforts. Each distance provides its own adventure through the terrain surrounding this traditional Minho city, known for its weekly market and iconic rooster symbol. The longer routes demand solid mountain experience and preparation for significant climbing.
