The VII Amazing Espite Trail

The Amazing Espite Trail explores the Portuguese countryside around Espite with two distinct challenges. The 18km route features 683 metres of climbing through varied terrain, while the 32km course steps up to 1113 metres of elevation gain. Both routes combine technical sections with scenic rural landscapes, offering runners a genuine taste of Portuguese trail running. The mid-July date brings warm summer conditions that add an extra dimension to the challenge. Better suited for those with some trail experience, the event provides an opportunity to discover a quieter corner of Portugal while tackling rewarding climbs and descents through the region's characteristic terrain.
