TAUT unfolds across Portugal's historic Serra de Sicó region, offering eight distances from 14km to an extraordinary 500km. The courses wind through rugged mountain terrain, deep valleys, and centuries-old stone villages, finishing at the dramatic Fragas de São Simão. Shorter options (14-35km) introduce runners to this technical landscape, while the ultra distances venture into wild, remote terrain. The 500km Ancient Quest, created for the World Championship, stands as one of trail running's most formidable tests — 24,000 metres of climbing through a landscape steeped in history. Whatever the distance, TAUT delivers a genuine challenge in a region where ancient paths meet raw mountain beauty.
