About this event
Set in Portugal's Serra da Lousã, Louzantrail offers four distinct mountain courses organized by the local Clube Montanha da Lousã. The races wind through technical terrain and scenic ridgelines that have earned this event a reputation among serious trail runners across Europe. While the longer distances challenge even elite athletes with demanding climbs and rocky descents, the 13km course provides a solid introduction to mountain running for those ready to test themselves on proper trails. The event celebrates local mountain traditions while showcasing the rugged beauty of the Lousã region, making it particularly appealing to runners seeking an authentic Portuguese trail experience away from the typical tourist circuits.
