Set in the remote eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons, this event takes runners through the wild, windswept ridges and hidden valleys of the Black Mountains. The terrain is properly challenging — think open moorland, steep climbs, and ancient drovers' paths that feel genuinely remote. Red kites wheel overhead, and the sense of being far from anywhere is real. With three distances ranging from 10 to 40 miles, it caters to experienced trail runners ready for a serious test. March conditions can be unpredictable, adding an extra edge to an already demanding course. The quieter side of the Beacons, done properly.
