The TransMartinique takes runners on an epic journey through the wild beauty of Martinique's northern coast, starting from the fishing village of Grand'Rivière. This challenging event showcases the island's dramatic landscapes, from lush rainforest trails to rugged coastal paths. With seven distances ranging from a 19km coastal route to the demanding 134km ultra that crosses the island, the race caters to experienced trail runners ready for tropical terrain. The longer courses tackle serious elevation through Martinique's mountainous interior, while the shorter options follow the scenic coastline. December's timing offers cooler temperatures for tackling these technical Caribbean trails.
