Devon Grit takes riders through East Devon's finest gravel terrain, including the sweeping vistas of Woodbury Common and the coastal beauty of the Exe Estuary Trail. Four distances ranging from 43km to 110km cater to experienced riders ready for proper challenge. The Full route adds the notorious Core Hill climb — just 12km longer than the Standard but considerably tougher. Designed for gravel bikes, cyclo-cross, or lightweight mountain bikes with 35mm+ tyres, this event rewards those comfortable with sustained technical riding and significant elevation. Not one for road bikes or casual outings, but a memorable day out for capable riders seeking varied terrain and coastal landscapes.
