Tour de Hvar

The Tour de Hvar takes runners on a journey across one of Croatia's most beautiful islands, where mountain trails meet Mediterranean coastline. The course winds through ancient vineyards and past historic villages, with the Adriatic stretching out below. Five distances cater to different abilities, from a 13.3km introduction to the terrain up to a challenging 64km traverse of the island. The varied landscape means constant shifts between technical climbs, flowing descents, and coastal paths. Spring timing ensures comfortable temperatures and the island's famous lavender fields beginning to bloom. Based in the charming village of Vrisnik, the event offers that rare combination of serious trail running and island atmosphere.
