About this event
The Torbay Triathlon Spring takes place on completely traffic-free courses around Paignton, making it particularly welcoming for first-timers and families. Participants swim in a pool, cycle on the smooth Velopark circuit, and run through parkland trails. The event offers seven distance options, from the Mini Tri at just over 2km for young starters to the full Sprint Triathlon covering nearly 25km. Relay teams are welcome, adding a social element to the day. The event's safe, contained format and variety of distances earned it recognition as National Children's Event of the Year in 2023. While some races suit beginners, the intermediate sprint distances offer a solid challenge for those with some experience.
