THE ROC Wales
About this event
THE ROC Wales brings together three distinct worlds in one formidable endurance challenge. Starting with a 1.5km sea swim off Abersoch's golden beach, athletes transition to a 50km bike ride that climbs steadily into the Snowdon Massif. The centerpiece is a 12km mountain run ascending and descending Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) via The Watkin Path, the steepest route to the summit with over 1,000 meters of elevation gain. After the descent, a 50km return ride leads to a final 1km beach run to the finish. The course is fully marked and supported, demanding not just fitness but genuine mountain readiness and mental resilience. For those seeking to push beyond standard triathlon distances, this sea-to-summit journey through North Wales offers a unique test across swimming, cycling, and technical mountain terrain.
