Set in the stunning grounds of Mount Kelly College in West Devon, the Tavistock Triathlon offers something for everyone, from young first-timers to seasoned athletes. The swim takes place in Mount Kelly's Olympic legacy 50-metre pool, with generous three-metre-wide lanes, while younger participants enjoy the adjacent 25-metre pool. The bike leg rolls through quiet Devon lanes ideal for maintaining rhythm, and the run follows the old railway line with a pleasant mix of grass and scenic trails. With six different distances ranging from a 4.35km TriStar event up to the full 46.8km Standard course, the event welcomes multi-sport athletes at every stage of their journey. Transition zones and the shorter courses all stay within the college's picturesque grounds, creating an intimate and supportive atmosphere.
