Serifos Sunset Race

The Serifos Sunset Race brings together runners and swimmers on a Greek island in the Cyclades. Set in the coastal town of Livadi, the event offers road running distances of 5km and 10km on World Athletics-certified courses, plus open-water swimming races across Livadi Bay ranging from 750m to 3km. The September timing captures the island at its most pleasant, with warm waters and golden light. While the running routes are road-based rather than trail, the Aegean setting and combination of disciplines creates a distinctive atmosphere. Children's races round out the program, giving the event a welcoming, community feel that suits the relaxed pace of island life.
