Spetses Mini Marathon

The Spetses Mini Marathon brings runners to a car-free Greek island in October, when summer crowds have thinned and temperatures settle into perfect racing weather. The 25-kilometre island loop traces the entire coastline, offering long views over the Aegean, while the 10-kilometre and 5-kilometre routes weave through pine-covered hills and waterfront promenades. The island's compact layout means friends and family can catch runners at several spots along the course, and the harbour fills with a festive atmosphere once the racing wraps up. Swimming events of 1.5 and 3 kilometres add a multisport element for those drawn to the water as much as the trails.
