Epidavrios Dromos - Half Marathon

The Epidavrios Dromos connects ancient theatres and healing temples across a landscape where Greek history runs deep. Starting at the Small Theater of Ancient Epidaurus, the half marathon route passes through olive groves and the harbour ruins before finishing at the UNESCO-listed Grand Theater, famous for its acoustics. The course takes runners through the cobbled lanes of Ligourio village, with views across the Argolic Gulf, and ends near the ancient Asklepion Stadium. A 5km option offers a shorter journey through the same historic terrain, while a 1km kids' race introduces younger runners to trail running. Late September brings warm sunshine without summer heat, and the mix of ancient sites and Mediterranean scenery makes this more than just a race.
