Masseiras MTB

The Raid das Masseiras brings mountain bikers to the rural landscapes around Póvoa de Varzim for a genuine off-road adventure. Organized by Bikeservice, this established Portuguese MTB event attracts over 1,200 riders each year, drawn by its well-marked routes and spirited atmosphere. The two distance options—35km and 51km—both wind through countryside terrain that tests handling skills and endurance. It's a ride that celebrates the community side of mountain biking, where the post-ride gathering feels almost as important as the trails themselves. A solid choice for experienced riders looking for proper technical challenge in northern Portugal.
