Jönköping Marathon & Half Marathon

The Jönköping Marathon and Half Marathon takes runners through some of southern Sweden's most scenic terrain, following the shores of Lake Vättern and winding through three nature reserves. The course traces parts of the classic 1980s marathon route, linking the twin cities of Jönköping and Huskvarna before culminating in a memorable finish on Munksjö Bridge. With both marathon and half marathon distances available, the event draws runners from around the world, creating a welcoming international atmosphere. The mix of lakeside paths, urban stretches, and protected natural areas makes for varied and visually rewarding racing.
