About this event
Midnattsloppet Malmö transforms the city center into a nighttime running spectacle each August. The 10K and 5K courses loop through central Malmö starting and finishing at Stortorget, where thousands of runners in matching technical shirts create a striking wave of movement through illuminated streets. Music pulses from speakers, crowds line the route, and the atmosphere feels more like a street festival than a race. Chip timing keeps things professional, while refreshment stations and post-race snacks keep runners fueled. The event welcomes both individuals and teams, making it popular with local running clubs and corporate groups looking for a memorable evening on the pavement.
