Set in the rolling Devon countryside near Ottery St Mary, Exeter Gravel offers two distinct challenges on a lapped course of gravel fire roads and off-road trails. The 30km Open race suits riders looking to test their pace, while the 15km Novice & Youth option provides a gentler introduction to gravel racing. The course works well for gravel, cyclocross, or mountain bikes, weaving through scenic terrain that showcases the area's rural character. With chip timing, well-marked routes, and full support including medical backup and post-race catering, the event strikes a nice balance between competitive racing and welcoming accessibility for newer riders.
