Dirt Run Brigstock Country Park brings trail running to the heart of Northamptonshire's woodland. Set in Brigstock Country Park, this winter event offers two distances — a 7.5km and 15km — both exploring the park's network of forest paths and natural trails. The compact nature of the park means runners often loop through the same terrain, getting familiar with the woods as they go. February conditions add a proper trail running challenge, with potentially muddy sections and winter weather keeping things interesting. Part of a series, this second round attracts a friendly local crowd. The shorter distance makes it accessible for those newer to trail running, while the 15km provides a solid workout without venturing into ultra territory.
