Dark Valley, Night Trails

Dark Valley transforms Moors Valley Country Park into something wonderfully atmospheric after dark. Set in ancient woodlands along the Hampshire-Dorset border, this night race follows a 10km looped course where runners navigate tree-lined paths by headtorch, guided by fluorescent markers that glow against the darkness. The forest takes on a different character at night — quieter, more intimate, slightly mysterious. Runners can tackle one lap or push further, with options up to 30km available. The course is well-marked and supported by experienced marshals, allowing runners to focus on the unique experience of moving through the woods under starlight. A proper test of night navigation and nerve.
