WINTER BAY Backyard Ultra

The Winter Bay Backyard Ultra takes the classic last-person-standing format to the streets of Stockholm. Starting from Liljeholmen subway station, runners tackle a 6.7 km loop every hour, on the hour, until only one competitor remains. The course traces a scenic route around Lake Trekanten, passing through Vinterviken and returning via Trekantsparken. It's as much a mental challenge as a physical one, with past champions completing between 30 and 41 loops. The race also offers a Silver Ticket to the Swedish national team, making it a competitive proving ground. The urban setting and accessible start point create a unique atmosphere where spectators can easily follow the drama unfold.
