The Alpaca Race

The Alpaca Race brings trail running to Hisingsparken with four distances spanning 10km to 100km, each offering substantial climbing that makes this a proper Swedish trail experience. The 10km (641m elevation) welcomes newcomers to the sport, while the 32km and 52km options step up the challenge with nearly 2000m and over 3200m of ascent respectively. The flagship 100km ultra tackles a formidable 6410m of elevation gain. Set in mid-June when Nordic summer light stretches long into evening, the event combines genuine mountain terrain with an approachable atmosphere. The playful name hints at a spirit that takes the trails seriously without taking itself too seriously.
