Set along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way, the Waterville Trailrunning Festival showcases the dramatic coastal landscapes of County Kerry. The routes follow sections of the Kerry Way, weaving between the shores of Lough Currane and the rugged slopes of Eagle Hill before descending toward Derrynane Bay. Runners tackle varied terrain — mountain ridges offering sweeping views across Ballinskelligs Bay, coastal single track, and quiet country roads. Four distances span from 25 kilometres with 768 metres of climbing to an formidable 128-kilometre ultra with 3,527 metres of ascent.
