The kleiner KoBoLT takes ultra runners into the forested hills and valleys of the Rhine region near Koblenz, where serious climbing awaits across three demanding distances. The 72-kilometre route with 2,630 metres of elevation offers a gateway for experienced runners ready to step up to ultra terrain, while the 99-kilometre option pushes deeper into the surrounding landscape with nearly 4,000 metres of ascent. The 135-kilometre route challenges seasoned athletes with over 5,200 metres of climbing through this historic German wine-growing region. Held in late November, the event delivers a raw, wintry trail experience for runners seeking a genuine test in the off-season.
