Valle dei Segni Wine Trail

The Valle dei Segni Wine Trail weaves through the historic Camonica Valley in northern Italy, where ancient rock art, Roman ruins, and medieval villages line the route. Runners follow sections of the old Via Valeriana and the Way of Charlemagne, passing through terraced vineyards and quiet hamlets that seem untouched by time. The 57km route links Capo di Ponte, a world centre for rock art, with the spa town of Darfo Boario Terme, climbing 2,755 metres through varied terrain. A shorter 18km option covers 1,000 metres of elevation. The course stays relatively low, topping out at 696 metres, making it accessible despite the significant vertical gain. This late October event beautifully combines trail running with cultural discovery in one of the region's most historically rich valleys.
