Garda Trentino Xmas Trail

This December trail race loops around the northern shores of Lake Garda, where mild winter temperatures create surprisingly pleasant running conditions. The course weaves through historic lakeside towns — Torbole, Riva del Garda, Tenno, and Arco — linking ancient paths with spectacular viewpoints over the lake. Runners pass medieval villages, old castles, and panoramic terraces that showcase the dramatic meeting point of Alpine peaks and Mediterranean waters. The 15km route offers a taste of the scenery with 675m of climbing, while the 31km explores the full circuit with nearly 1,600m of elevation gain. It's a scenic alternative to traditional winter racing, combining the quiet charm of off-season lakeside trails with technical mountain paths above.
