Set in Catalonia's Priorat wine region, UTSM-Costa Daurada takes runners through Mediterranean landscapes where ancient vineyards cling to steep hillsides and pine forests offer shade between climbs. Three distances challenge different levels: 24 kilometres with 1,272 metres of elevation gain, 44 kilometres with 2,454 metres, and a demanding 63-kilometre route accumulating 3,254 metres of climbing. The trails wind through stone villages and historic paths around Ulldemolins, with views stretching toward the Costa Daurada coastline. October timing means warm Mediterranean sun without summer heat, ideal for tackling this technical terrain. A genuine taste of Catalonia's rugged interior in a lesser-known corner of Spain.
