Ultra X Finland takes runners into the Salpausselkä UNESCO Global Geopark, where ancient glacial ridges meet boreal forests and lake-speckled wilderness. Based in the Lahti region, the event unfolds under June's midnight sun, creating an otherworldly racing atmosphere. Five distances cater to different ambitions, from a 25km introduction to the terrain up to the flagship 110km ultra, offered as either a single-stage challenge or split across two days. The courses wind through Finland's distinctive landscape of pine forests, glassy lakes, and geological formations shaped by ice age glaciers. As a UTMB Index race, it offers qualifying points for those building toward bigger goals, while the remote northern setting provides a peaceful contrast to busier European race circuits.
