The Ultra Trail des Vallées takes runners through the rolling terrain of Brittany's Mesnil-Roch region, where agricultural valleys meet forested ridges. Two challenging routes await: a 77-kilometre course with 1,543 metres of climbing and a more demanding 80-kilometre option featuring 2,500 metres of elevation gain. The December timing adds an extra dimension to the challenge, with crisp winter conditions and shorter daylight hours testing navigation and pacing skills.
