The Ultra Tour des Côtes d'Armor delivers a proper winter challenge through Brittany's coastal terrain at the end of February. Five distances from 32km to 100km wind through rolling landscapes where the elevation adds up more than the modest hills suggest — the longest route climbs 1,400 metres over its course. Atlantic weather brings an extra dimension to the experience, with bracing winds and changeable conditions testing mental toughness as much as physical fitness. These advanced and expert-level courses attract experienced trail runners looking for an early-season proving ground, where winter conditions and technical terrain create a genuine test before spring arrives.
