Set in the lush landscapes of New Caledonia, this October event offers two distinct mountain challenges. The 50-kilometre course climbs nearly 2,700 metres through Pacific island terrain, rewarding experienced runners with technical trails and tropical scenery. For those building up their distance, the 27-kilometre option provides a taste of the same rugged environment with 1,336 metres of climbing. Both routes showcase what makes New Caledonia's trails unique: a blend of volcanic geography and South Pacific wilderness that feels worlds away from the European trail running scene.
