Set in the heart of Brittany's Landes de Lanvaux and Claie Valley, this December trail offers a proper end-of-season challenge through terrain that keeps runners engaged throughout. The courses wind along technical ridgelines, through dense forest sections, and across wild stretches of the GR38 long-distance path. With options of 32 kilometres (844 metres of climbing) and 53 kilometres (1,600 metres of climbing), the routes feature rolling terrain that alternates between sharp climbs and natural single-track descents. The preserved landscapes showcase a quieter side of Brittany, far from coastal crowds. Running this close to Christmas adds a distinctive atmosphere to what's already a solid technical challenge for experienced trail runners.
