About this event

Set in the rugged hills near Sant Llorenç de Montgai in Catalonia's Lleida province, this November event follows challenging routes through the dramatic terrain of the Montroig area. The 21-kilometre course climbs 1,300 metres, while the 41-kilometre route tackles 2,600 metres of ascent across technical trails. Late autumn brings cooler temperatures ideal for sustained climbing, and the Catalan countryside takes on a quieter, more subdued character as winter approaches. Both distances suit experienced trail runners comfortable with significant vertical gain and demanding terrain in this lesser-known corner of northeastern Spain, where the event's name honours the region's agricultural heritage.
