Trail du Ruisseau takes runners through the countryside around Chaumes-en-Retz in the Loire-Atlantique region. The event offers four options, including a unique duo relay format on the 23km course with 300 meters of climbing, perfect for sharing the experience with a running partner. Solo runners can tackle the same 23km route, while shorter 11km and 5km trails welcome those newer to trail running or looking for a more relaxed outing. Taking place in mid-February, it's a great way to kick off the season before the trails get crowded. The varied distance options make it accessible for different fitness levels, though the longer courses require some trail running experience.
