The Trail du Marquisat brings runners to the rolling countryside around Louey in the French Pyrenees foothills. Three distances cater to different ambitions: a 10km road option for those testing the waters, a 12km trail with 300m of climbing that offers a genuine taste of the terrain, and a 25km route with 800m of elevation that explores the deeper valleys and ridges of the Marquisat domain. Taking place in mid-June when the landscape is lush and green, this event suits runners looking to challenge themselves on varied terrain without committing to the region's more extreme mountain races.
