TRAIL DU JURA BERNOIS

About this event

The Trail du Jura Bernois takes runners through the rolling landscapes of the Jura mountains near Tramelan, with four distances from 13km to 67km. The courses follow characteristic ridgelines and pastures, starting with gentle woodland trails on the shorter routes and building to more technical mountain terrain as the distances grow. The 67km route covers over 3,100 metres of climbing, traversing the heart of this quiet corner of Swiss Jura. Late September brings pleasant temperatures and the first hints of autumn colour across the high meadows. All distances require some hill-running experience, with the longer routes demanding solid mountain legs and endurance.
