Set in the rolling countryside of Charente, the Trail des Bois de Louzac offers three well-crafted routes through peaceful woodlands and gentle hills. The 10-kilometre course, with 170 metres of climbing, makes an ideal first trail race — manageable elevation that builds confidence without overwhelming. More experienced runners can tackle the 17-kilometre route with 350 metres of ascent, or push themselves on the 30-kilometre loop with 500 metres of climbing. The courses wind through forest paths and open fields, offering varied terrain that keeps things interesting.
