Trail Dei Folendari takes runners through the rolling hills and forests around Cerro Veronese, a charming village in the Lessinia highlands north of Verona. The event offers three distinct distances — 11km with 490m of climbing, 19km with 1043m, and 32km with 1550m — each showcasing different aspects of this lesser-known corner of the Veneto region. The shorter route provides a gentle introduction to the area's trails, while the middle distance ventures deeper into the landscape with more sustained climbing. The longest course explores the full breadth of the terrain, weaving through beech forests and open meadows with views stretching across the valley. The early October timing catches the autumn colours at their peak, when the Lessinia plateau transforms into a tapestry of gold and copper tones.
