Trail de la Galinette

About this event

The Trail de la Galinette takes runners into the rugged hills above Cadolive, a small Provençal village east of Marseille. Three distances (24km, 33km, and 50km) offer a proper challenge across the rocky, sun-baked terrain of the Massif de la Sainte-Baume. The routes climb steadily through garrigue and limestone ridges, with the longest course accumulating 2,700 metres of elevation gain. This is trail running in its classic Mediterranean form — technical descents, exposed sections, and panoramic views stretching toward the coast. The atmosphere is warm and local, with a small-race feel despite the serious terrain. Best suited for runners comfortable with sustained climbs and rocky footing.
