Trail de Gorbio

About this event

Set in the medieval village of Gorbio, perched in the hills above Menton, this welcoming trail event offers two distances through the Maritime Alps backcountry. The 9-kilometre route winds through olive groves and forest paths with 482 metres of climbing, while the 15-kilometre extends the adventure with 808 metres of elevation gain. Both courses are designed with newer runners in mind, though the terrain still provides a satisfying challenge. The 9-kilometre is also open to walkers, making it an inclusive day out in the mountains. Runners carry their own water, adding to the self-sufficient spirit of mountain running. The setting combines coastal proximity with genuine alpine character, and the start in Gorbio's historic village square adds a special touch.
