Trail BBC offers a welcoming entry into trail running in the Breton countryside around Guipry-Messac. With four distances from 8 kilometres to 45 kilometres, the event caters especially well to newcomers, featuring routes that showcase rolling terrain without overwhelming climbs. The courses wind through characteristic Breton landscapes, with gentle ascents that build gradually as runners progress through the distances. The 8-kilometre route (199 metres of climbing) makes an ideal first trail race, while more experienced runners can tackle the 45-kilometre challenge with 972 metres of elevation gain. The thoughtful progression of distances means runners can return year after year to push themselves a bit further through this pleasant corner of Brittany.
