Tour Du Nipalou

About this event

The Tour Du Nipalou brings runners to the rugged trails around Lorcières in the French Alps each late October. Two challenging routes test experienced trail runners: a 21-kilometre course climbing 1000 metres and a demanding 53-kilometre option ascending 2380 metres. The autumn timing means cooler temperatures and potentially dramatic alpine weather, adding another layer to the challenge. Both routes wind through technical mountain paths where fitness and sure-footedness matter equally. It's a solid test for runners comfortable with steep ascents, sustained effort, and the changing moods of the high Alps as winter approaches.
