Terre dei Varano - Off Road

Set in the rolling hills of Le Marche, this trail running event explores the historic territory around Camerino. The course winds through ancient paths and off-road terrain that once connected medieval villages in this lesser-known corner of central Italy. Runners can choose between a challenging 45km route for experienced trail runners or a more accessible 24km option that still offers a solid introduction to technical trail running. The landscape mixes woodland trails with open ridges, providing variety underfoot and glimpses of the Apennine mountains in the distance. While not aimed at complete beginners, the shorter distance makes it approachable for those ready to step up from their first trail races.
