About this event

Set in Asturias' Natural Park of Redes, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, this October event offers two demanding mountain routes through pristine Cantabrian terrain. The Skyrace tackles 23.3 kilometres with 2,100 metres of climbing, while the Speed Trail covers 17.5 kilometres with 1,100 metres of ascent. Both routes traverse ancient beech forests, high mountain pastures, and rugged limestone peaks. Late October brings autumn colours to the forests and crisp mountain air. This is genuine mountain trail running for experienced runners comfortable with significant elevation and technical terrain in one of northern Spain's most protected natural landscapes.
